(page 2)

When I went to move in with my mother in Meadville, MS (a place no one's ever heard of), I started taping the episodes from another local channel, and then, USA!  I liked watching the local channel better because they included the "Sailor Says" segment at the end.

I found a few items at the Walmart in Brookhaven, MS: a Beryl and a Sailor Moon.  I didn't buy everything I saw (damn) because I didn't have much money at the time.  Of course, I joined the SM fan club that you mailed off for and got a few stickers and a plastic see-through bag.  It was O.K., but not all that I was expecting.

In 1997, I moved to Metairie!  I had to find out what stations were showing episodes since USA had stopped.  I had the roughest time find it.  It came on at 6:30 a.m. on a FOX station.  What a poor time slot!  Of course, I taped them.

I began finding items at a comic book shop near the college I was attending.  There were CDs, videos for rent, stickers, Japanese dolls, books, and trading cards.  What is all this, I wondered?  It was wonderful.  I hadn't yet discovered the network of people and pages on the internet until I got free access at school.  I don't remember what prompted me to look for Sailor Moon, or what I first found.
